Can’t say that I knew anything about him till now but looks another from the Barnet connection. Has moved around a lot having played at NL level over recent seasons. Very tall CF. 26 years old.

Still no news on Fernandez. Given that the rest of the wanted retained squad signed up pretty quickly, seems like he is looking elsewhere. No doubt Mel has alternatives under consideration as well.

I would agree, he might be looking around for a better deal. Although he improved the defence when finally fit, he missed a substantial amount of the season through injury.
Mel has contacts and he may well have better players available.

I see from Twitter that Bloomfield missed two penalties in 10 minutes in one game. Should fit in nicely!
