I guess there will be mixed feelings in the Hampton camp about seeing Sam moving on. He's been a good servant over his various stints but increasingly lacked a major impact on games with very few goals or assists this past season. We need more creativity out of our midfield going forward and more pace.

We really should be thanking players who are departing before we find out that they have signed elsewhere ( unless this was a surprise to the club of course).

Thought Sam was an influential player with a lot of promise in his first spell with us but he didn't really build on that, (inevitably he'd probably have gone higher if he had) and last season had increasingly less effect on games. I'd wondered if he might have ended up with Julian at Slough, but perhaps he'll make more impact in the league below. Just had a look and Uxbridge had a fairly decent season by the look of it, not being too far away from the playoffs, when I thought they might even have been in the division below that.

RGC signs on for next season! Excellent news.

Good news. Let’s hope he can get a lot more time on the pitch as we know he can score goals.

Fair enough, I stand corrected! Sayers confirmed as a Dorking player.

Disappointing news re Sayers, he did seem pretty good, but most players these days will take the cash. I don't expect we can really compete with Dorking.

Not a great vote for us but a good move for Charlie. Dorking have more money to offer I’m sure and will be one of the favourites next season. I think most players would do the same.

Again nothing on our social media about the departure. I thought Charlie was definitely one of the better players we signed last year so we should acknowledge that.

Maybe we're planning to acknowledge them all in one go when the full extent of the departures are known...I wouldn't have a problem with that, it's not like any of the squad have stuck around for years is it?
Of slightly more concern is the lack of info about season tickets etc, we must be the last club at our level to have stayed silent on that issue. Doesn't leave much time for an early bird deal does it??

Really good move for him tbf. Really solid player.

Cant recall if Sayers was on loan to us or actually signed, but is it just me, or is this modern thing of fans being happy for players who sign for rivals in the same division a bit, well, weird? Why are some always so happy and content for a promising young player we took a chance on to have joined a club who will no doubt finish above us because of their budget? I know we can't compete financially and I'm sure I'll be called a dinosaur but I'm afraid I just don't really get it.

I find it amusing that Mr White complains about injuries and signs a player that *Checks Notes* spent the last 2 months of the season out injured. Good player would've liked to keep him but not many can compete with that lot.

He’ll fit in just fine at Dorking! Good player but given his lengthy spell out I think he’s replaceable.
