Eastbourne have a horrible artificial surface so at least we know the game will be on.
The fixture schedulers should really take public transport into account when deciding which games are Tuesday night. There are no trains out of Pevensey & Westham after the game. There is a train out of Eastbourne at around 10.20pm but that is impossible to catch without missing the end of the game. I expect travelling support will be small tonight partly because of this.
They allocated us Chelmsford, Tonbridge, Maidstone, Hemel, St Albans, Dorking and Hornchurch on weekends but all of those would be easier to travel back from on a Tuesday night via public transport than Eastbourne is. I don't understand how we get those games on a Saturday but Weymouth and Eastbourne on a Tuesday. I think the league is just run by out of touch suits.
