This semi-final was replayed as, despite beating Hanworth Villa in the earlier encounter, the Beavers had made the cardinal sin of playing an ineligible player and were forced to play the match again, this time at Rectory Meadow. Hampton had to come from behind to secure their place in the final against Wealdstone (held over to the following season). Villa were looking the livelier of the two sides and it was no real surprise when they took the lead in the 28th minute. Kamara’s back pass to Howes was hit underweight and Cyril Ocansey was able to nip in and fire it in past the visiting keeper. Hampton brought on Kiernan at the start of the second half and they started to force their way back into the game. Hanworth defended well until the 80th minute. Hanworth’s keeper Ashby-Hammond then spilled the ball under pressure and Hippolyte-Patrick was on hand to lash the loose ball in. Hampton quickly took control, Jolley cut in from the left and hit a crisp shot from the angle of the penalty area. The third goal came right at the end, Kiernan turning in a cross from Hippolyte-Patrick.
