John Chilvers RIP

Peter Shodeinde has notified me that John Chilvers passed away recenly. John came up from the Youth Section and played in the period 1978/79 to 1987/88. He made 80 appearances, scoring 5 goals (most of his appearances were between 1980/81 to 1982/83).

Ah that's such a real shame. John was a promising young player in my early days of supporting Hampton. Can't have been that old, I'm guessing in his 60s? RIP.
