I have been advised by a long-time friend of his that Graham Belcher passed away this morning.

Graham was a defender and played for the club from 1966/67 to 1970/71, making 228 apps (3 as a sub) and scoring 3 goals, originally joined from Molesey.

I remember Graham very well, he joined us along with Eddie Ratcliffe from Molesey.. Graham took over at centre half from Ron King. Ratcliffe moved on to Addlestone as he was unable to get a regular starting line up as he could not displace Roger Blackmore who was probably the best left back in the division. When Roger emigrated there was talk of his return, but it did not materialise and Peter Minor joined instead.
I remember a game at Molesey when Graham charged in to meet a corner and there was a massive clash with Joe Andrews both players receiving lengthy treatment.
His father was a regular spectator at Beveree when Graham joined us.
