A fair bit of experience for Aldershot, seems to have been at quite a few clubs on loan throughout his career.Tony wrote: Wed Jul 01, 2026 12:03 pm We really are becoming Aldershot B team. He tends to follow his father from club to club. Plenty of NL experience.

Seems like a player with a lot of experience at higher level. Definitely the type of player we need.

Also, people who aren't keen on Tommy will probably find it hard not to let that influence their opinion of TheoTony wrote: Wed Jul 01, 2026 3:43 pm Some mixed reviews from Aldershot social media but I guess that is usually the case when players are released.
I don't mind us signing a few players from Aldershot. They've already shown they can perform at the level above, and we've seen it work before. Dowse did the same when he went to Woking and took a fair few of our lads with him.
It should help us hit the ground running, as they'll already know how each other play and how the manager wants to play.

We have to remember that they did win the Trophy with some of these players just the season before last, which despite not being the competition it was (like most cups) is still no mean feat.
